How to Find Us

Ponteland United FC has a senior team based alongside Ponteland Leisure Centre and a Junior section based at the University Sports Ground - Bullocksteads.

Ponteland United FC is based alongside Ponteland Leisure Centre in Ponteland.

By Car...

To reach Ponteland Leisure Centre by car, leave the A1 at the Kingston Park exit and take the exit signposted for the airport - the A696. Keep on this road past the airpost and straight-on through a number of roundabouts until you enter Ponteland village after approximately 4-5 miles.

Eventually you will arrive at a set of traffic lights. On your right you will see a pub - The Diamond. Turn left onto Callerton Lane. Take the first turn left after about 200m signposted for the leisure centre. You will see Ponteland United's ground on your right.

Park in the leisure centre car park.

Ponteland United (Junior) FC

Ponteland United Junior FC is based at the University Sports Ground called Bullocksteads.

Bullocksteads is located in Kenton Bankfoot and can be reached on foot from Bankfoot Metro station. It is situated behind the Twin Farms pub and next to the Newcastle Falcons Rugby ground at Kingston Park.

By Car...

To reach Bullocksteads by car, leave the A1 at the Kingston Park exit and take the exit as if you are travelling to the large Tesco Extra store. Instead of turning off to the Tesco store carry straight on at the small roundabout. Go through another small roundabout and then under a Metro line bridge.

After another quarter mile you will see the Twin Farms pub on your right hand side - you can see the Bullocksteads grounds behind the pub.

In about 100-200m there is a turning on the right hand side and you will see a sign headed 'Bullocksteads'. Take this turn and follow the road into the car park.

By Metro...

On the Metro line to the airport get off at the Metro stop at Kenton Bankfoot. Cross the railway line at the level crossing and keep walking in the same direction and in a few minutes you will see the Twin Farms pub ahead of you. Bullocksteads is immediately behind the pub. Turn left at the main road adn you will see the entrance to Bullocksteads on the right after about 50 metres.
